When I was young I was hooked up to Tom and Jerry for hours. just loved how they hated each other yet managed to live together.
With new technology our entertainment has grown gradually and with that growth we have experience new scope of animation. You would notice tons of cartoons out there but only few leave a mark in your heart. Here is the list of 10 best cartoons in the world that have entertained us over a period of time. SpongeBob SquarePants
SpongeBob and his friends never have failed to amaze. There is no way you cannot end up laughing. It i is funny, excellent, and well animated. Despite tons of options out there, it still is rated one of the best cartoons in the world.
The little yellow SpongeBob steals the show with his square pants, quirkiness and with his not so adventurous activities. It is a fun thing to watch, and it is appropriate for the children. Not only children but adults too love it. Along with SpongeBob the other cast Patrick, Mr crabs, squid ward all are hilarious.
Looney Tunes
Looney tunes is rated one of the most popular cartoon in the world till date. It is known as classic, and the characters never leave the minds of people who love cartoons. The character are so good, especially bugs bunny. With Looney Tunes started a new era, an era of beautiful animation. This American animated series was the embodiment of a great comedic genre in animation. The Warner brothers produced Looney tunes and it is simply the best.
Mickey mouse
Everybody knows Mickey mouse. The famous fictional character with large yellow shoes and dotted shorts is the showstopper, and it deserves all your love. And I am sure children are always ready to shower their love on this little mouse. It is a Walt Disney production, and it has gained tremendous response from people.

The Simpsons
Simpsons is one of my favorite cartoon. This cartoon series has an enormous fan base. People love it and I believe some live it. The Simpsons ran for 706 episodes. This show set the bar so high for comical animated series. It is so funny and one of the best cartoons ever made. Matt Groening created the original cartoon series. They also aired it as a sitcom, making it the longest in-air sitcom in the cartoons list.
It is about the misadventures of the simple family of a man called Homer Simpson, his wife and children. I am sure you would enjoy watching it ( I did simply because it reminds me how dumb a man can be when it comes to basics 😉 )
Tom and Jerry
I dont believe there is anyone in the world who doesnt know the famous Tom and Jerry! The cat and rat fight is the most common thing in this world. The whole frenemies thing has been a part of every childhood over generations. I am sure everyone would agree with me that it does have a place in top 10 cartoons in world. I would rate it as one of the best cartoons in the world. Joseph Barbera and William Hanna created this stunning series in the year 1940.
Phineas and Ferb
Phineas and Ferb is another one of the most popular cartoon in the world. This show is about Phineas and his stepbrother Ferb and their amazing daily activities on their summer vacation. Every episode brings something better than before and it is a complete entertainer. The creators appeared at the end of the show. The projects carried out by the brothers are fun to watch.
Scooby-Doo
Scooby-Doo has received an overwhelming response from all over the world. The building suspense and horror make this adorable, funny, and popular. It is a great comedy animated series. Power Puff Girls

The three girls fighting against criminals using their powers was fun to watch, and the creator Craig McCracken has added fun elements to boost the show even more. Altogether it has worked very well. It was one of my favorite cartoons. I so loved the beginning of each episode.
Adventure time
The plot of adventure time has a little boy named Finn, his pet dog with magical powers and misfit adventures. This show is light and breezy and equally weird. The balance has made this show popular among people. Pendleton ward created this incredible series for CN and the show just caught on. The other main characters of the cartoon are princess bubble gum, Jake, the ice king, Marceline the Vampire Queen, all living in a post-apocalyptic land.
Courage the Cowardly Dog
There is no way we can forget about the courage of the cowardly dog when it comes to the best cartoons in the world The little pink pup and his activities are enough to steal the hearts of the viewers. His courage is so high that he will face his worst fears to protect his owners. This cartoon has etched its footprints on the American horror-comedy genre, and it served as one of the best cartoons and beloved series. The owners of the pup are also great, and it has the right amount of tension for a horror-comedy cartoon, and we cannot ignore the cuteness of courage.
Obviously! there are tons of other amazing series you would like to see added to this list but I believe these are some marvelous gems that were difficult to leave. It bring back those wonderful memories of childhood that one would never like to forget. I am trying to watch these with my son. Watching these with him is like reliving those wonderful moments again with him.

I am a huge cartoon fan even as an adult and I love the list that you shared. Actually, Spongebob and Fairy Odd Parents are my favorites. I had forgotten about Scooby Doo and will try to rewatch some episodes.

Looney Tunes were my fave and I still watch Simpson’s at my current big age lol. Even SpongeBob has some adult parts that we didn’t realize when we were younger lol.
Some of these are after my time LOL I haven’t even seen some of these shows before. Looney Toons and Scooby-Doo are favs of mine though!

These is a great list of great and classic cartoons! I still watch Scooby-Doo to this day and have introduced my son to it about a year ago. I do love the Power Puff Girls but have not seen it recently. We no longer have CN and lost lots of access to cartoons! 🙁
I am 44 and I have a 22, 13, 15 year olds and I used to watch Phineas and Ferb and loved the Powerpuff girls. One of my other favourites was the Amazing world of gumball!
