Is Audible free with prime?
No. But Amazon does favor Prime members. An Audible membership does not come free with Amazon Prime. How to cancel Audible?
To cancel your Audible plan, follow these instructions: Go to the Account Details page on the Audible desktop site. Click Cancel membership at the bottom of the “Membership details” section. Follow the on-screen instructions and steps. After you cancel, an automated email will be sent to you as proof of your plan changes. Any purchased titles will stay in your library and you can listen to them at any time.
Your only limitation is your mind. I wish I could have subscribed to Audible earlier. I would have finished quite a number of books.

I know so many people who swear by audio books, so I am sure they are amazing! That being said, I have terrible hearing and am a fast reader who prefers to go at my own pace, so I know I’d prefer to stick to print, but it’s great that there are other options. Audio books are also great as they allow people to “read” books whilst exercising, driving, eating, etc, so all those busy people out there can multi task, but my stubborn hearing just won’t allow me to do that!
Like you described, I previously felt as though audio books were somehow being ‘unfair’ to the book itself and the joy of reading the content. That being said, I have since discovered that audio books and podcasts are my go-to when I’m doing work around the house – be it work for my career or something as simple as folding laundry. It adds a little fun to otherwise boring tasks while allowing me to enjoy the incredible work of some of my favourite authors.
I love audible. I am an avid runner and I always listen to audio books when I run. I enjoy it a lot. Audible gives tons of books to enjoy. Frankly I’ve been listening to more books than I actually read this year
Amazon Audible sounds like it would be really useful for my eldest daughter. She loves reading and listening to stories.
